LF Labs ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Lil' John platform ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account Information — Name, email address, and payment details when you create an account or subscribe to a paid plan.
  • Telegram Data — Group metadata (group name, member count), messages processed by the bot for QnA and spam detection, and user IDs for moderation actions.
  • Knowledge Base Content — Documents, URLs, and FAQ entries you upload to train the bot.
  • Usage Data — Analytics on bot interactions, feature usage, API calls, and dashboard activity.
  • Technical Data — IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies for session management.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process your knowledge base content for AI-powered responses
  • Detect and prevent spam in your Telegram groups
  • Generate analytics and usage reports
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send important service updates and security notifications
  • Improve our AI models and Service quality
  • Respond to support requests

4. Data Processing & AI

Your knowledge base content is processed using third-party AI services (including OpenAI) to generate embeddings and responses. We send only the relevant content chunks needed to answer specific questions — not your entire knowledge base. AI-processed data is not used to train third-party models.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

Message logs processed for spam detection are retained for 7 days on the Starter plan and 90 days on the Pro plan, after which they are automatically purged.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers — Third-party services that help us operate the platform (hosting, payment processing, AI processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements — When required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LF Labs, our users, or others.
  • Business Transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
